Sara A. Greenstein

President, Chief Executive Officer & Board Member 

Sara A. Greenstein is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lydall, Inc. She was appointed CEO in November 2019.

Ms. Greenstein is a purpose-driven executive and creator of sustainable value for employees, customers, shareholders and the environment. For more than two decades, she has led the transformation of several leading U.S. manufacturing and service companies.

Ms. Greenstein joined Lydall from the integrated steel producer United States Steel Corporation ("U.S. Steel"), where she served as Senior Vice President of its $4 billion global Consumer Solutions business unit. While at U.S. Steel, she successfully led the turnaround of Consumer Solutions, driving unprecedented growth and profit through a new customer intimacy and solutions strategy.

Prior to U.S. Steel, Ms. Greenstein served for 12 years at Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. ("UL"), the world's leading global safety certification company. During her time at UL, she held multiple executive positions and led the transformation of the organization from a U.S. not-for-profit with a focus on traditional product safety testing, to a global $1 billion for-profit market leader in risk management, secure supply chain commerce and environmental sustainability.

Ms. Greenstein was most recently a member of the Board of Directors of Briggs & Stratton Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of gasoline engines for lawn and garden equipment, where she served on the company's Finance Committee and Nominating & Governance Committee.

An Illinois native, she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in industrial distribution management, from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois. She earned her MBA from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Randall B. Gonzales

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer 

Randall ("Randy") B. Gonzales serves as Lydall's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, leading the Company's global Accounting & Finance, Strategy & Transformation, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, and Information Technology organizations. Prior to joining Lydall in March 2018, Mr. Gonzales was the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Caterpillar's (NYSE: CAT) Rail Division, a multi-billion dollar global supplier of railroad and transit system products and services, which included the iconic Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) brand of freight locomotives and engines. Mr. Gonzales joined Progress Rail in December 2014. From March 2004 to November 2014, Mr. Gonzales held financial and operational leadership roles of increasing responsibilities within Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., a Fortune Global 50 automotive manufacturer including Chief Financial Officer for Nissan's Global Sales & Marketing functions based in Yokohama, Japan.

Mr. Gonzales holds a Master of Business Administration from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy. Mr. Gonzales is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Chad A. McDaniel

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer 

Chad McDaniel serves as the Company's Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administration Officer, leading the Company's global Legal, Human Resources and Environmental, Health & Safety organizations. Prior to joining Lydall's management team in the first half of 2013, Mr. McDaniel was Associate General Counsel of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a division of United Technologies Corporation (UTC). UTC is a manufacturer of high-technology products and services for the global aerospace and building systems industries. During his tenure with UTC, Mr. McDaniel also held the positions of Director; Executive Assistant to the President at UTC's Fire and Security division from 2010 to 2012, and Assistant Counsel at UTC's Pratt & Whitney division from 2007 to 2010. He began his legal career in private practice, spending five years as a corporate associate focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance, and private equity financing/fund formation.

Ashish Diwanji

President, Lydall Performance Materials 

Dr. Ashish Diwanji is the President of Lydall's Performance Materials segment, a position to which he was appointed in the second quarter of 2020. The Performance Materials business is a leader in delivering innovative filtration, sealing, and advanced material solutions for demanding applications to enable a cleaner, healthier and more energy efficient world. Previously, he served as Lydall's Senior Vice President, Innovation and Chief Technology Officer, focusing on advancing product-line rationalization and maximizing strategic technological development across the three business segments.

Prior to joining Lydall, Dr. Diwanji led the product investment strategy and was the Chief Technology Officer for the Consumer Solutions division of U.S. Steel (NYSE:X). Before joining U.S. Steel, he spent nearly 20 years at Owens Corning with his last role being the Vice President of Innovations for their composites business where he focused on commercializing specialty materials, including glass nonwovens, into engineered solutions for varied end market applications.

Dr. Diwanji earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, and is a Distinguished alumnus of the University of Delaware where he earned both Masters and Doctorate degrees in Materials Science.

David Glenn

President, Lydall Thermal Acoustical Solutions 

David Glenn is the President of Lydall's Thermal Acoustical Solutions segment, a position to which he was appointed in the third quarter of 2020. The Thermal Acoustical Solutions segment offers a full range of innovative engineered products tailored for the transportation and industrial sectors to thermally shield from high heat as well as assist in the reduction of noise, vibration, and harshness. Immediately preceding this, Mr. Glenn served as Vice President, Finance and Strategic Planning for Lydall's Thermal Acoustical Solutions segment since September 2017. Prior to this, he held the role of Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations for Lydall, Inc. since 2010.

Before joining Lydall in 2010, Mr. Glenn was previously employed by United Technologies Corporation (UTC). UTC is a manufacturer of high-technology products and services for the global aerospace and building systems industries. Throughout his tenure at UTC, which dates back to 2000, Mr. Glenn held various positions of increasing responsibility in the finance, accounting, treasury, and merger and acquisition related work.

Mr. Glenn holds an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University, and earned a B.A. in Corporate Finance from the University of Massachusetts.

Robert B. Junker

President, Lydall Technical Nonwovens 

“Robb” Junker joined the company in October 2019 as the President of Lydall's Technical Nonwovens segment.  Technical Nonwovens is a global manufacturer of technical nonwoven materials and products having a broad range of applications in the industrial filtration, automotive, and geosynthetic markets, among others.   

Prior to joining Lydall, Mr. Junker was Vice President, Operations for the Process Filtration segment of Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion and control technologies.  Mr. Junker joined Parker Hannifin through its acquisition of CLARCOR.  He was responsible for leading the integration of the Process Filtration platform with 28 locationsand 1,800 employees. Prior to joining CLARCOR, Mr. Junker worked for Hengst Automotive, an OEM/Aftermarket Filter Manufacturer, as President of the Americas.  He also held various executive leadership roles during his 20-year career at Federal-Mogul Corporation, including leading its Sales & Marketing, Distribution, and Manufacturing Operations across Asia while based in China for 5 years.

Mr. Junker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Ambrose University.
